Screen Privacy Guard ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. The App is engineered with a strict privacy-by-design architecture:

No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, store, sell, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Zero Telemetry: We do not log your contacts, photos, browsing history, messages, keystrokes, or screen contents.
Local-Only Storage: All user configurations (filter opacity, color presets, monitored app lists, battery preferences) remain securely stored 100% locally on your device via Android SharedPreferences.

⚡ 2. AccessibilityService API Disclosure & Policy Compliance

In strict compliance with Google Play's User Data & Accessibility Policies, this section provides transparent disclosure regarding our usage of Android's AccessibilityService API:

A. Purpose of the Accessibility Service

Screen Privacy Guard uses the AccessibilityService API solely for its optional "Auto-Enable by App" automation feature.

B. How It Works

When you enable "Auto-Enable by App" and choose specific applications (such as banking, social media, or gallery apps):

The service listens for TYPE_WINDOW_STATE_CHANGED events to identify the package name of the foreground active app.
When a selected app opens in the foreground, Screen Privacy Guard automatically turns ON your screen privacy filter overlay.
When you exit or switch away from that app, the filter overlay is automatically turned OFF.

C. Explicit Data Safety Guarantee

No Content Inspection (canRetrieveWindowContent = false): The service cannot access or read any on-screen text, form fields, messages, or user inputs.
No Keystroke / Password Logging: The service does NOT monitor keystrokes, passwords, or interactions.
No Network Transmission: Active package name events are processed purely in temporary local device memory and are never stored or transmitted over the internet.
User Consent & Control: Enabling the service is completely voluntary, requires prominent in-app disclosure and consent, and can be disabled at any time in App Settings or Android System Settings.

🌐 4. Third-Party Services & SDKs

The App integrates standard Google developer libraries to provide advertising and in-app purchases:

Google AdMob: Used to display banner and native ads in the free version. AdMob may process non-personalized diagnostic identifiers and advertising IDs (AD_ID) in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Play Billing: Handles optional Premium subscription transactions directly and securely through Google Play. We never handle or store your payment details.

🔒 5. Data Retention, Deletion & Security

Because we do not collect or store personal data on any remote servers, there is no personal data to retain or delete. You can erase all local device settings and statistics at any time via Settings > Clear Statistics or by clearing the App's storage in your device settings.
