1. Introduction & Core Architecture

ADB App Manager ("we", "our", or "the App") is an Android developer utility and package management tool. The App connects directly to the Android OS internal Wireless Debugging service via local network sockets (127.0.0.1 / localhost or local Wi-Fi subnet).

All ADB authentication keys, certificates, device connection records, and app management states are generated on-device and kept strictly within the application's isolated private sandbox.

2. Android Permissions & Exact Purpose

To provide wireless ADB connectivity and package control without root, the App requests only necessary Android permissions:

android.permission.INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

Required to create local TCP socket connections between the App and the Android Wireless Debugging daemon (localhost / Wi-Fi subnet), and to load advertisements.

android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE & CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE

Required for local mDNS / NSD (Network Service Discovery) to automatically discover the wireless debugging port advertised by the system.

android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS

Used solely to display pairing status, interactive inline PIN entry, and active connection controls in your notification shade.

android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CONNECTED_DEVICE

Keeps the wireless pairing listener active in the background when you switch to Developer Options to view the pairing code.

com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID

Utilized by the Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve non-intrusive banner, open, and interstitial ads in accordance with user consent.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

The App integrates standard third-party SDKs provided by Google to support free development and respect user privacy:

Google Mobile Ads (GMA) SDK: Used to display advertisements. Google may collect anonymous device identifiers and performance metrics to serve ads.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK: Manages compliance with European GDPR, UK Data Protection Act, and CCPA/CPRA regulations, allowing users in covered regions to consent or configure their personalized advertising preferences.

4. Data Security & Storage

Local-Only Storage: Your preferences, theme mode, and saved devices are stored in on-device encrypted Jetpack DataStore preferences.
No Cloud Tracking: We do not operate external tracking databases, telemetry servers, or user behavioral tracking pipelines.
Data Erasure: Clearing the App's data via Android System Settings or uninstalling the App permanently removes all keys, certificates, saved ports, and cached information.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Google Play Families)

Our App is a developer and power-user tool intended for general audiences aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any personally identifiable information from children under 13.

6. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA Compliance)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have specific rights regarding your personal data:

Consent Management: You can reset or update your advertising consent preferences at any time from the Settings > Ad & Privacy Consent screen in the App.
Data Portability & Deletion: Because all operational data is stored solely on your physical device, you maintain full ownership and control over your data at all times.
